Spiritual and Prayer Resources
We hear from victims/survivors that they wonder if their Catholic brothers and sisters even think about them or pray for them. Everyone has the power to pray for victims -alone or with others. We invite ordinary Catholics who may feel at a loss as to what to do in the face of this horrific chapter in our church’s life, to pray for victims. We also urge Catholics to pray together as a community, in groups small and large, informal and organized for the victims/survivors. Accepting this responsibility is profound work indeed. Here are some sample prayers and prayer services to consider as models. CLC is looking into holding regular on-line communal prayer for victims in the future. Watch for information on this website.
