Listening Session for Racialized Catholics

  • Hamilton, Ontario Canada (map)

This listening session is designed specifically for racialized people to share their experience of the Church in the context of the global consultations on synodality launched by Pope Francis. It is important that your voice be heard, whether you fully identify as a church member or feel disconnected or disappointed in the church. The synodal process is based on the premise that every baptised person is called to participate, to have a place and a role in how the Church lives its pastoral and prophetic mission. Have you experienced any obstacles to your active participation? Have you had positive experiences of participation that you can share? What key message do you wish to communicate in this consultation on synodality? Please join the conversation whether or not you have participated in any other synodal listening session.
