It is fascinating to learn what is important to Catholics in other parts of the world. Worth a read!

The Working Document (IL) -this document sets out the process that will be used to conduct the first session of the XVI General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops from Oct 4-29. The process design is markedly different from previous synods; so too are the participants.

Not only bishops and Vatican officials but lay people-women and men- are participating. (Unfortunately, this document is only available in Italian, but you can still discern the names)
